Tereza, 77, lived and worked her whole life in a small town in the Amazon until the day she receives an Official Government order to relocate to a senior housing colony located in an isolated area where the elderly are brought to “enjoy their final years,” freeing the younger generation to focus on productivity and growth. Tereza refuses to accept this imposition and runs away determined to set her own fate. She pursues her ‘bucket list’ by embarking on a transformative journey through the rivers and tributaries of the Amazon. Actress Denise Weinberg as Tereza is resourceful, energetic, funny as she meets many surprising characters on her journey through the Amazon.
