Driving Madeleine: ADDITIONAL SCREENING

ADDITIONAL SCREENING due to mishap with the May 1 screening. We will be screening the film at the regularly scheduled time at 2.30 PM and an additional screening at 7 PM. Please show up at any of these screenings. Thank you for being so understanding. Madeline (Renaud) is 92 years old, impeccably dressed and alert. She hails a taxi in Paris and tells the driver Charles (Boon) that this may be her last ride through her favorite haunts in her beloved city as she will soon enter a nursing home. She describes to Charles some enchanting anecdotes. He initially appeared to be irascible with curt responses as he wended his way through the traffic. However, as Madeline describes incidents with elegant detail Charles responds with his own stories of frustration and personal crises. What follows is a delightful romp with these two opposite characters as they embark on an unexpected and wonderful adventure. If you loved ‘Driving Miss Daisy’ YOU WOULD LOVE THIS EVEN MORE.
